Meet the Dentists
Dr. Evan Ridge
Dr. Evan Ridge is originally from Rockland County, New York. He attended the University of Delaware and graduated with honors with a degree in exercise physiology and biology. Dr. Ridge’s passion for science and art led him to pursue a career in dentistry. He pursued his DMD at the Rutgers School of Dental Medicine, where he was honored with an Award of Merit from the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry. After graduating with his DMD, Dr. Ridge was accepted to the prestigious General Practice Residency program at the James J. Peters VA Medical Center in Bronx, NY, where he pursued advanced training in all areas of dentistry, including cosmetic and implant dentistry. Dr. Ridge is an active member of the dental community, including membership in the Academy of General Dentistry and the American Dental Association.
Dr. Ridge strives to make his patients feel comfortable and at ease while providing the highest quality dental care. In fact, he has often been told by patients that because of his warmth and his engaging demeanor, his patients at times forget they are sitting in a dentist’s chair!
While caring for patients is his passion, Dr. Ridge loves to spend time traveling and exploring new cities, countries and especially new cuisines. He is an Eagle Scout, a lifelong skier and hiker, and loves exploring the outdoors. When indoors, you can usually find Dr. Ridge in the company of his two dogs.
Dr. Ali Arastu
Dr. Arastu completed his undergraduate studies and received a Bachelor of Arts in Classics and Religion from Boston University. He then earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine. He completed a 3-year residency in periodontology at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, School of Dentistry. During this residency, Dr. Arastu also earned a Masters in Oral Biology (MS), with his thesis focused on the use of various lasers in the treatment of periodontally compromised teeth. He is now a part-time faculty at University of Pennsylvania Department of Periodontology.
